We are long time makers starting with dolls clothes for Stacey and re-vamping vintage finds for Brendan. We have both worked in the clothing industry since our late teens , working in various sewing factories in Tauranga.
deVol clothing was started in 1994 as Stacey's polytech project and just never stopped. ( devol for loved backwards and after Frank de Vol who wrote the score for many shows including a favourite at the time, The Brady Bunch).
We originally started with one off garments using new and recycled fabrics, and now use natural fibre fabrics sourced from Japan, USA and local suppliers. All of our designs are made in limited quanities.
We design, pattern make and construct the range ourselves.
de Vol garments are all made using quality materials and with passion and care for the craft of making clothing.
We are based on the sunny kapiti coast.
